Functionality

The function module receives various data from TRM, including a difference indicator and information about the actual material quantity. The function module checks

• whether the difference indicator is allowed.

• whether the calculated difference quantity makes sense.

If you enter incorrect data (for example, a transfer order number that does not exist), the system raises exception INPUT_ERROR.

If you are not authorized to enter a difference indicator or a difference quantity, the system raises exception DIFF_NOT_ALLOWED.

Example

When you pick from a handling unit, you cannot post differences to the source storage bin.
