L_IDOC_ERROR_SAVE - NOTRANSL: WM: Fehlerhafte IDocs zwischensichern

Functionality

This function module saves the IDocs that were not processed in an internal table. The following parameters are passed to the function module:

• number of incorrect IDoc

• message type of incorrect IDoc

• identification of error occurred (structure LMESS)

• type of error, that means, information as to how the system should behave in the case of an error. For a description of the possible error types see the import parameters of the function module. The error types correspond to specific parameters of the workflow.

• return code to determine further workflow steps. For a description of possible return codes see the import parameters of the function module.

When the IDoc processing starts, function module L_IDOC_INPUT_REFRESH must be called so that, among other things, this internal table is reset to its initial value (is deleted).

When the IDoc processing ends, two other function modules (L_IDOC_RETURN_CREATE und L_IDOC_STATUS_CREATE) must be called which return this internal table in an adequate form to the ALE layer so that the IDocs are marked incorrect and adequate follow-on activities are initiated.
