MB_MES_GOODSMVT_CREATE - Posting of Goods Movements from SAP ME

Functionality

You can use this method to create a material document for a goods movement.

This function module works the same as the BAPI for goods movement creation, and it has the same interface. Refer to the documentation of BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for further information on the function module and its parameters.

In addition to BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, this function module performs the determination of the reservation number and reservation item number for component consumption postings related to a production order. The determination basically uses the material, batch, and storage location information and the assignment to production order operations to determine the reservation information if it was not provided by the caller.
