MDG_BS_ACS_ALERT_NOTIFICATION - Notification of closed alerts in the SAP Business Partner Screening system

Functionality

This remote function module is used in integration scenarios for address screening, in which SAP Business Partner Screening performs address screening of change requests for an SAP Master Data Governance system.

Specifically, this function module is used to notify a workflow that is waiting in SAP Master Data Governance that an address screening alert has been closed in SAP Business Partner Screening.

When all alerts that have been created for a change request have been completed, then the workflow in SAP Master Data Governance can continue processing. The further processing of the workflow depends on Customizing of the response to any confirmed address screening hits.

The notification that is delivered with this function module contains information that identifies the change request and the alert that has been closed, as well as the person or organisation that was checked, the business system ID from SAP Business Partner Screening Customizing, and the results of the address screening in the alert. The results identify confirmed address screening hits, listing for example the Address ID in the screening list, the name, address, country, and list classification. The list classification, in particular, is used to govern the further processing of the workflow of the change request.
