Functionality

This function module reads in a plant the total valuated stock in a specific base material group. If a plant uses value-based inventory management, the stock is managed on the value-only material assigned to the base material group. If there are exceptions to this rule, the stock of the exception-materials is added to the stock of the value-only material.

Example

Notes

The plant is read to determine the valuation area. Since in Retail a valuation area is always a plant, this module can only be used in SAP Retail. If a valuation area comprises several plants (R/3 standard), you cannot use this FM.

Further information

The export parameter E_KEBF tells you how the stock is managed in the base material group output. Possible indicators:

'1' - Inventory management on an exact material basis, without exception

'2' - Inventory management on an exact material basis, with exception

'3' - Inventory management on a value basis, without exception

'4' - Inventory management on a value basis, with exception

If stock determination could not be run, the exception ERROR_FOUND is returned with an error message.
