MPLAN_START - Maintenance Plan Scheduling - Start Scheduling
ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plans BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Functionality
This function sets the start date or start counter, thereby generating the first call. This function is only possible if there has not yet been a call.
All existing calls with the status Hold are deleted (default). If the calls are required for the history, you can also keep them. The entries are the same as for transaction IP10:
- If no values are entered for the parameter STADT or SZAEH, the system proposes values - as in transaction IP10.
- If values are entered, these values apply.
Parameters
WARPL | Maintenance plan |
STADT | Start date - for time-based maintenance plans |
SZAEH | Start counter - for performance-based maintenance plans |
STIME | Start time for scheduling |
Return
BAPIRETTAB | Table with messages/error messages |
Example
Notes
When transaction IP10 starts, it refreshes the calls. For example, it checks existing calls to see whether the defined time period has been reached, and changes the status of the calls from Hold to Save to Call (can be called). The scheduling functions do not implicitly do this. To work with the updated maintenance plan data, you can call the function MPLAN_UPDATE_SCHEDULING before calling the function you actually want.
Further information
For more information about scheduling, see the application help for transaction IP10.
