MPLAN_UPDATE_SCHEDULING - Maintenance Plan Scheduling - Update Scheduling

Functionality

This function reschedules and may generate a call, in the same way as MPLAN_MANUAL_CALL and MPLAN_RELEASE_CALL. First, it always ensures that an open call exists with the status Hold or Fixed. The entries are the same as for transaction IP10.

When transaction IP10 starts, it refreshes the calls. For example, it checks existing calls to see whether the defined time period has been reached, and changes the status of the calls from Hold to Save to Call (can be called). The scheduling functions do not implicitly do this. To work with the updated maintenance plan data, you can call the function MPLAN_UPDATE_SCHEDULING before calling the function you actually want.
