MSAM10_CLASSI_GETLIST - PM/CS: Get the list of classifications

Functionality

You use this method to get the list of classes. This method internally uses the variant mentioned in the Service and Asset management for Mobilecustomizing (transaction MSAM_GENERAL) for selection report RMSAM_MO_CLASSIFICATION_LIST to get the list of classes. If no variant is maintained then all the classes(type equipment and functional location) will be selected.

This method returns the list of Class IDs only, when the Sel. header Keyscheckbox provided in the Service and Asset management for Mobilecustomizing is selected. If you wish to have the class header details like short text, description and so on, then this checkbox must be deselected.

Notes

Errors encountered during processing are collected in the RETURN table.

Technical note

You can use the ME_MASS_REP structure to restrict the number of classes in the output list. The field ME_KEY_GREATER_THAN can be used to get the list of classes having class number greater than the value in this field. The field ME_NUMBER_OF_HEADERS can be used to get the fixed number of classes.,,
