Functionality

Utilities-related processes can only be executed if SAP Utilities is enabled.

If it is enabled, you can use this BAPI wrapper to create meter reading results. This is only possible if no maintenance or service notifications/orders are involved.

Notes

If SAP Utilities is not enabled, this BAPI wrapper returns an error when executed. Errors are transferred in the RETURN table.

Customer Enhancements

The BAPI wrapper customer enhancement concept allows customers to use additional data that was not planned for the interface. Extension parameters act as data containers that transfer additional values during import.

Additionally, the BAPI wrapper calls Business Add-Ins (BAdIs). These BAdIs can be used to check the data that is transferred to the method by the customer and perform additional processing activities.

If SAP Utilities is enabled, the applicable IS-U function module calls BAdI BADI_ISU_MSAM_MR_RESULT (MSAM: ISU Customer BAdI for Meter Reading Result) to create meter reading results.

Example

Notes

There are special upload-only tables that are used to execute the Utilities processes. The entries in these tables are considered creation requests and have no effect on existing data (that is it is not possible to change or delete any existing meter reading results).
