MSAM_COM_CUS_ISO_CONV_OUTBOUND - ISO Outbound conversion routines

Functionality

You use this method to fetch all the common plant maintenance (PM) customizing maintained in the backend system. Following customizing data are selected along with their multilanguage information:

• Units of Measurement

• Notification Types

• Details on Order Types

• Priority Types

• System Condition

• User Status Profiles for PM objects

• PM Activity Type

• Partner Functions

• Partner Determination Procedures

• Default Values of Units in Operations

• Country codes

• ABC Indicators and their texts

• Future time confirmation indicators based on order types

• Equipment Categories

• Functional location categories

If the Industry Solution for Utilities (ISU) is enabled in the backend, then this method also selects ISU-specific customizing data in addition to PM customizing. The following details will be passed by the IS-U BAdI BADI_EAM_MSAM_IS_CM_CUST method CM_CUST_GETDETAILcalled within the method:

• Details for Notes from Meter Reader Customizing

• Details for Activity Reasons from Customizing

• Details for Disconnection/Reconnection Status from Customizing

• Currency Details

• Details for Disconnection Types from Customizing

• Details for Document Types from Customizing

• Details for Materials from Customizing

• Details for MR Notes from Customizing

• Details for Meter Reading Cats. from Customizing

• Currency details

Error messages are collected in the RETURN table.

Note

To retrieve details of the PM and IS-U customization the following importing parameter is mandatory:

APPLICATION - Application ID and the value must be MSAM_CUST.

Customer Enhancements

The BAPI wrapper customer enhancement concept allows customers to use additional data that was not planned for the interface. The Extension parameter acts as a data container where the additional values are transferred during import.

In addition to the extension parameters in the interface, BAdI (Business Add-Ins) is provided in the method. This BAdI can be used by the customer to write their own custom logic and perform additional processing activities.

Available BAdIs

BADI_EAM_MSAM_CM_CUST: Customer BAdI for Common Customizing

BAdI method CM_CUST_GETDETAIL_PREPROCESScan be used to perform preprocessing of the data before the standard logic is called. If the standard logic is to be skipped then the importing parameter LV_SKIP_STANDARD is to be set.

BAdI method CM_CUST_GETDETAIL_OUTBOUND can be used by the customer to perform outbound processing after the standard logic.
