Functionality

This function module compiles a hazardous substance inventory based on the passed parameters and calculates the statistics for the number of hazardous substances per work area and usage type. The function module calls the following standard function modules in the package CBIH:

  • CBIH_RP01_KEYTAB_FILL_FROM_SEL
  • CBIH_RP01_DISP_HAZINV_COMPUTE

Using the following parameters, you can influence the sort sequence of the statistics (output table: E_HAZINVWASTAT_TAB), for example, sort in descending order (I_HAZINVWASTAT_FLG_SORT_DESC = 'X') using the I_HAZINVWASTAT_SORTFLD = 'EPCOUNT' field in the output table:

  • I_HAZINVWASTAT_SORTFLD
  • I_HAZINVWASTAT_FLG_SORT_DESC

Via the parameter I_MAX_HITS, you can control how many data records are returned to the output table. In this case, only the data for those work areas is returned in the tables E_HAZINVWAHITM_TAB and E_HAZINVWAHITS_TAB that is also returned in the statistics table (E_HAZINVWASTAT_TAB).

Using the sort settings and the parameter I_MAX_HITS, you can, for example, determine the top three work areas with the most hazardous substances in use.

The function module is RFC-enabled.
