OII_SOCSEG_CUST_GET_EXTERNAL - Get all storage object characteristics for a customer

Functionality

Returns all storage object characteristic segments for a specified storage object owning object. This function carries out all database accesses necessary to retrieve this data. In addition, this function handles any storage object characteristic derivation, such as customer storage object characteristic data from a reference business location.

Example

For bulk deliveries all tank data must be retrieved for a customer service station.

Notes

Normally, it is only necessary to populate the key fields of the input structure. However, in special cases, such as storage object characteristic derivation from business location to customer, the complete customer A-segment (or at least the business location reference field) should be populated to enable the function to determine whether or not inheritance should take place.
