Functionality
When the source is less than target, left justify the value. Right pad the remaining spaces with zeros.
Example
The source field MAJOR PROD (1 char) is mapped to the target field PRODUCT (3 char).
Step 1
Left justify MAJOR PROD 1.
Step 2
Pad remaining target field spaces with zeros to fit three characters: 100, for example.
Note
Target and source field sizes can vary, but the source must always be less than the target.
