Functionality

The function module runs in transaction OT81 for event PR00001850 when a Repetitive Code is to be released. As standard, transaction OT81 has the corresponding authorizations for the dual control principle for creating or releasing repetitive codes.

If you want to use the dual control principle for the release, you can fill the relevant indicator in this function module. This means that you deviate from the standard where two users are required for the release.

The structure FIBL_RPCODE is transferred. It contains the complete specifications for a repetitive code.

The indicator 4_EYES is returned and indicates whether the dual control principle is to be applied.

In addition, two indicators are transferred for the first and second release (indicator FIRST_RELEASE and SECOND_RELEASE).

If the indicator 4_EYES is not set, the standard release process runs.

If the indicators 4_EYES and FIRST_RELEASE are set, the fields DREL1 and UREL1 in the repetitive code are set. In the display, the repetitive code appears as not released.

If the indicators 4_EYES and SECOND_RELEASE are set, the repetitive code is released and displayed as released.
