Functionality

This function module determines the external documents from an incoming IDoc, and the follow-on documents that result in the R/3 system. A prerequisite is that the necessary links between the documents are established by means of function module POS_SA_RELATE_DOCUMENTS.

If the IDoc does not contain external documents, parameter EXTOBJTYPE can be omitted. In this case, the IDoc itself is returned as an external document. All follow-on documents are directly linked with the IDoc.
