Functionality

The function module PROMOTION_VK_FIND returns exactly one promotion number for a specific material in a fixed quantity for a plant on a defined sales date. The function module can buffer its results for exactly one plant in a distribution chain on one date. Both positive and negative calls are buffered.

In case the read module is called in a loop for a lot of materials in the same plant in the same distribution chain on the same date, although the materials are known before the loop (POS inbound), the buffer can be filled in advance by the prefetch module PROMOTION_VK_FIND_PREFETCH.
