PVSHI_INTERNAL_PPEHEADER_ID - iPPE: Read GUID for Access Object

Functionality

iPPE APIs work with the internal identifications of access objects. This module converts the external identifications to internal identifications. If the external identification points to an existing object, the API gets the object's ID and the EXISTENCE field has the value 'X'. If the external identification does not point to an existing object, a new identification is allocated and the EXISTENCE field has the value ' '.

The following attributes make up the external identification of an iPPE access object:

• Material/product, variant or concept

• Plant/location and iPPE usage

• Name

• The type (parameter PPE_TYPE) determines whether the access is in the production version or whether it is only used in iPPE.

The parameter OBJECT_TYPE informs the module whether the access is for a material, a variant, or a concept. The parameters for the material (MATERIAL_LONG, MATERIAL_VERSION, MATERIAL_GUID), the variant (VARIANT_ID) or the concept (CONCEPT) must be filled accordingly.

This API buffers newly allocated identifications. It always gets the same internal identification when one external identification is called several times.
