QC02_CERT_PROFILE_TEXT - Characteristic Short Text for Certificate: Cert. Profile or Master Record

Functionality

The module reads a language-dependent text for a characteristic that will be printed on a certificate.

The system first tries to read the short text from the certificate profile being used. If the short text is not found, the system will search for the short text in the master inspection characteristic or the class characteristic, depending on the characteristic category.

If no text is found in the specified language, the module will search in a second language (proposed language: lc_language_default is set to the same language as the logon language).

The selected short text is placed in the QCTEXT output structure, which can be accessed in the certificate's form.

As with all modules in this function group, this module can be used as a copy model for your own modules.

Notes

The module must be entered in the table for the origin of characteristic short text, so it can be used in the certificate profiles.
