QC02_CLASS_CHAR_TEXT - Characteristic Short Text for Certificate: Class Characteristic

Functionality

The function module reads a language-dependent text for a characteristic that will be printed on a certificate. The source of the text is a class characteristic in the classification system.
If this module is used for a master inspection characteristic, the system will try to find the link to a class characteristic using the material specification.

If no text is found in the specified language, the module will search in a second language (proposed language: lc_language_default is set to the same language as the logon language).

The selected short text is placed in the QCTEXT output structure, which can be accessed in the certificate's form.

As with all modules in this function group, this module can be used as a copy model for your own modules.

Notes

The module must be entered in the table for the origin of characteristic short texts, so it can be used in the certificate profiles.
