QC02_TEXT_ORIGIN_BADI - Origin of Characteristic Short Text for Certificates

Functionality

This function module calls the Business Add-In (BAdI) QC02_TEXT_ORIGIN_BADI with the filter parameter TEXT_ORIGIN. If you want to implement your own data origin you need to create a BAdI implementation.

Backkground Information

If this function module is used for an inspection characteristic, the system maps the function module parameters to the BAdI parameters, which can be checked or changed in your BAdI implementation.

The result of the BAdI execution, that is the selected short text, is placed in the QCTEXT output structure, which can be accessed in the certificate's form.

Notes

The module is only relevant for Cloud systems. It is automatically assigned if a new entry is created in the table for the origins of characteristic short texts.
