FUNCTIONALITY&

Output layout for a number in floating point format,(length 16), that is to be printed on a quality certificate.

Example

The following entries were made in the certificate profile for a characteristic:

• unit of measurement(Parameter I_UNIT_NEW): g

• output length(Parameter I_AUSGLEN): 8

• decimal places(Parameter I_STELLEN): 4

• exponential presentation(Parameter I_KZEXPDS): no

The input value is 1.23400000000000E-01 (Parameter I_NUMBER_FLTP16) and kg (Parameter I_UNIT_OLD). This gives the output 123,4000 g.

Notes

The units of measurement must match for the conversion to take place.

All quantitative data relating to a characteristic is output in the same format.
