QEAT_BINOMIAL - Fraction estimation by division

Task

Estimation of the share of nonconforming units in the population based on the share of nonconforming units in the sample.
For characteristics with tolerances, the share in the population above the upper tolerance limit or below the lower tolerance limit will also be estimated on the basis of the corresponding shares in the sample.

Statistical model

The following statistical models are possible:

• random sampling with replacement

• random sampling without replacement

• 100% inspection

Interface

The inspection results are transferred to the corresponding fields of the characteristic or partial sample structure. When called up, an indicator determines whether a characteristic or partial sample is involved.
Share values that were previously entered manually will be retained and will not be recalculated.
