QEAT_POISSON - Fraction estimation according to number of defects

Task

Estimation of the share of nonconforming units in the population based on the defects confirmed in the sample.

Statistical model

The number of defects for each unit are distributed according to a Poisson distribution. A unit is nonconforming if it has at least one defect.

Interface

The inspection results are transferred to the corresponding fields of the characteristic or partial sample structure. When called up, an indicator determines whether a characteristic or partial sample is involved.
If the share was previously entered manually, the value will be retained and will not be recalculated.
