Functionality

This function calculates the proportions of the Chi-squared distribution.

Notes

Description

The distribution function is calculated for the specified degrees of freedom and a value. This specifies the proportion of the distribution up to this value.

The Chi-squared distribution is used as a test distribution (Chi-squared test). It is also used for calculating reliability intervals and random distribution intervals of standard differences.

Procedure

The numerical calculation uses incomplete gamma integrals. Either a broken chain or a sequence is calculated, depending on the current parameter values.
