Functionality

This function module represents a standard follow-up function in an RMA process. It enables you to determine from the notification which quantities are to be repaired, scrapped, and returned to customers.

After calling up the follow-up function in the action box, you can save the notification and perform the necessary goods movements in the background.

Notes

The stock posting is only made after the corresponding notification has been saved. For this, function module "QM06_RMA_GOODS_MOVEMENT_STEP2" must be entered in Customizing.

Further information

This standard follow-up function is performed under the following conditions:

  • It is assumed that the stock is unrestricted-use sales order stock before this function is performed.
  • The corresponding movement types are taken from table TQ07M for the column "UnrestrStk".
  • "Repair" corresponds to "To blocked stock"

  • "No repair" - no goods movement is required in this case, since the stock is already in unrestricted-use stock.

  • "To scrap" if the material should be scrapped. For this posting, a cost center is required. The system proposes the cost center that should be defined for the plant settings (TQSS1) for scrap postings.
