QQWF_EVENT_PM_NOTIF_CREATED - Check whether event 'process notification' should be triggered - PM only_

Functionality

This function module checks whether the "message created" event is to be triggered. Triggering of this event is linked to the system status "notification open". The event should only be triggered, however, if the foloiwng statuses have not been set:

• "all tasks completed" status

• "defect record" status

Example

1. A notificaton was generated automatically via the defects recording application and was not activated explicitly.
   An event is not triggered in this case.
2. When a notification was created, tasks, which were completed immediately, were already recorded.
   The "notification created" event is not triggered in this case.

Notes

• Example 1:
  If you want to use a workflow connection without active notifications, you must define this accordingly in the defects recording function.

• Example 2:
  If all of the measures have been completed in a notification, the status "all measures completed", which is coupled with a separate workflow procedure, is set.

Further information

If the standard workflow procedures do not meet your requirements, you can intervene in the procedures easily by means of separate function modules, events and user status.
