Functionality
Enter the function module QRKS_MATERIAL_VENDOR in an SPC criterion in QM Customizing, if you want to use this criterion to manage control charts for a characteristic on a cross-lot basis, and you need to create a new chart for each material-vendor pairing.
The function module will be called up automatically during inspection processing at the point when the sample is calculated, in order to assign an open quality control chart to the characteristic. If the search is unsuccessful, a new quality control chart will automatically be created.
When the assignment is made, the following criteria will be checked for agreement:
- SPC criterion
- plan type
- plan number
- plan alternative
- plan sequence
- plan node
- characteristic number
- control chart type
- material
- vendor
If more than one open quality control chart exists that meets all of the criteria, the newest chart will be assigned.
Example
In the goods receipt inspection, product quality changes can be with control charts.
Notes
The acceptance chart for the mean and the sigma method for the acceptance sample inspection are based on the same quality techniques. With the control chart however, the sample size is not dependent on the lot size and a change in inspection severity does not take place.
