Functionality
This function module is used as a follow-up function for the notification in a stability study.
It is used to create the initial sample for a stability study.
A physical-sample drawing is triggered, then a physical-sample record is created for the relevant physical-sample category "initial sample" and for the physical-sample type "stability study".
The following additional data can be specified for the sample:
- Primary packaging
- Physical-sample container
- Sample quantity and unit
- Storage location
- Storage condition
- Short text
The status "Open" is set for the initial sample. The physical-sample drawing is subject to a confirmation requirement. This means that the initial sample must be explicity released.
Once the initial sample has been released, it can subsequently only be changed using the relevant follow-up function in the stability study. You cannot use the standard sample transaction to change the initial sample.
The confirmation of the sample can be performed using another follow-up function for the study.
The link between the notification (stability study) and the initial sample is technically maintained using the document flow.

This function module is used in conjunction with the function module QST01_FA_CREATE_INITIAL_SAMPLE (action for notification). The further transaction flow is controlled in thie function module (QST01_FA_CREATE_INITIAL_SAMPLE).
