Functionality

This function module is used in a follow-up function for a stability study notification.

It allows you to manually create an inspection lot for the initial test (ie. for the initial sample of the stability study).

You manually specify the inspection type, as well as the required inspection plan with the task-list type and a short text for the inspection lot. You can use any task list with a sample-drawing procedure.

The default for the inspection type is 1601 = Inspection Lot for Initial Test.

A prerequisite for the creation of an inspection lot for the initial sample is the release of the relevant sample.

In each stability study, there can only be one active inspection lot for the initial test.

The link between the notification (stability study), initial sample, and inspection lot is technically secured using the document flow.

Notes

If you use a different inspection type to the default one for the inspection lot, you may have to copy and exchange the function module and follow-up function.

You can use the flexible inspection specifications function when creating an inspection lot for the initial test. This means that you can make changes to previously read inspection specifications from a task list.

This function module is used in conjunction with the function module QST01_FA_INSPLOT_INIT_SAMPLE (action for notification), which controls the subsequent transaction flow.
