Functionality

This function module represents a standard follow-up function. It allows you to maintain the sample removal data for stability samples from a request for stability study.

The functions of this follow-up function are:

• Maintenance of sample removal data (sample removal date, -location, and -quantity)

• Status changes of samples (sample no longer exists, if you destroy it)

• Change of sample category to reserve sample, if necessary

A sample can be removed from storage or converted to a reserve sample if it is locked (status LKD).

If a reserve sample is formed, then a quantity (default is the storage quantity, quantity may not be greater than the storage quantity) and a storage location must be specified. No sample removal date is written for the reserve sample.

In case of sample removal, you must maintain the sample removal date, which must lie between the storage date and the current date.

This function module is used in conjunction with the function module QST01_FA_REMOVE_STORAGE_COND (action for notification), in which the subsequent transaction flow is controlled.
