Functionality

The message class and message number are used to search for an organizational plan element in table TWPDO. The function module provides the organization category and identification.

Example

Message class 'WP', message number '601' provides:
Object category 'C' = Job
Object ID '50010084' = Purchasing, Food

Notes

Further information

The object categories (e.g. job, position, user, etc.) and the objects, are created in the menu under 'Personnel', 'Planning', 'Organization', 'Organizational plan', 'Detailed maintenance', and linked with the objects above and below them in the hierarchy.

The links between the message and the object category and object ID are created via table 'TWPDO'. Only one message class, or neither a message class nor a message, can be linked to an organizational plan.
