REUSE_ALV_GRID_LAYOUT_INFO_SET - Set current ALV list information

Functionality

The caller can use this function module to change the current list descriptions.

Example

If a list was initially called without exceptions, the following process might be applicable:

• After a user interaction, the application gets control (event USER_COMMAND).

• The application determines the characteristic values of the exceptions for each list line and writes these values into the internal output table.

• The application gets the current layout structure using REUSE_ALV_LIST_LAYOUT_INFO_GET.

• The application changes the layout structure (LAYOUT-BOX_FIELDNAME is filled).

• The application sets the changed layout structure using REUSE_ALV_LIST_LAYOUT_INFO_SET.

• The application sets the SELFIELD-REFRESH indicator of interface structure RS_SELFIELD passed at event USER_COMMAND.

As a result, the list is output again with the new layout information. The traffic light symbols set in the user exit appear on the list.
