RPM_MSP_UPLOAD - To upload MSP projects into RPM

Functionality

This FM is used for uploading a project from Microsoft Project Server (MSPS) to RPM. There is only updating a project in RPM as before a project is uploaded to RPM from MSPS an approved proposal has to be created in RPM. This basically means that the MSPS project is linked to an existing RPM project.

This is accomplished by calling BADI method implementations for MSPS which gets the project data from MSPS, checks the fields of the various project, task, resource, role and relationship (assignments) objects and updates only those fields.

The saving of the various object structures into RPM database tables is done by calling a standard code of the Integration Framework.
