RPM_PS_PROJECT_TEMPLATES - To get the list of BPS templates

Functionality

This function returns the templates from the base project systems like the PLM PS system and cProject system. This is used to get the templates that can be copied to operational projects to be used in the RPM upload scenario.

For the cProjects this function returns the cProjects templates with the description and the GUID. This reads all the projects in the cProjects system with project type DPT.

For the PLM PS project the operational project list is returned. Currently these operational projects will be used for copying to the required project name in the PS system. A filter value will be used when this project list is returned and this will be based on the Project Id (IV_R3_PROJECT_ID) entered. The filter will return all the projects that confirm to the Mask value assigned to this project ID in the PS system.

For eg: if you pass the project ID as A12345 then this will check the mask value for 'A' in the PS system. If this value is -00000-XX-XX-XX-XX then all the projects that have this mask ID will be returned.

If the project ID passed does not have a mask ID, then all the projects that do not have a mask ID will be returned.
