RSEC_MERGE_AUTHS - Combination of Two Authorizations

Functionality

This module combines two authorizations, when possible.

It is generally possible to combine two authorizations if no more than one authorization dimension has different attributes (values or hierarchy authorizations).

Important exception: An authorization has * authorizations for all characteristics compared.

A comparison only takes into account authorizations for characteristics that occur in both authorizations. Other ("isolated") characteristic dimensions are not included.
