Functionality

This module arranges the objects in I_T_TR_OBJECT according to task The task determines the module itself. Objects with the same task are saved together to orders with module TR_OBJECTS_INSERT. This is necessary because objects with different tasks cannot be saved on the same order.

A local TADIR entry (development class = '$TMP') is written for new objects. Exception: The objects are existentially dependent on other objects that already have a non-local develpoment class and were also not transferred to the module. In this case, the existentially dependent objects receive the same development class. The relation via the existential dependence is also to be transferred to the module.

Objects without task (new and old) are then sorted according to target system and according to a flag that indicates whether they are originals; objects with the same target and the same originality are saved together on an order with the module TR_OBJECTS_INSERT. This is necessary because objects with different originality or different target system cannot be saved on the same order.

If the parameter I_TADIR_GENFLAG is set, the generated flag will be set for all new objects in the TADIR.

The objects for which the module TR_OBJECTS_INSERT delivered an exception are returned in E_T_TR_OBJECT_ERROR. These objects cannot be saved. In this case, the return code is E_SUBRC = 2. E_SUBRC = 4 means that the user selected Cancel on one of the Transport popups. Tn this case the transaction is cancelled.
