Functionality

This function module can be used to provide additional fields in the structure ANLAV. These fields are used for Assets reporting and can be be used by all reports both as additional report fields and as sorting and totaling criteria. If possible, only those fields as exist in customers' own or IBU-specific append structures for ANLAV should be changed. This prevents changes to the results of standard reports.

Important tip: You cannot change the company code, the main asset number or the sub-number. Any such changes are ignored.

Example

Asset reports are required in the additional component "Joint Venture Accounting". These reports are sorted by venture, but otherwise mirror the standard Assets Management reports. The relevant venture can be derived from the asset's cost center. To facilitate this, the ANLAV structure is enhanced with an APPEND structure that contains the venture. This field is filled in a function module that is called by this Business Event.

Notes

It is strongly recommended that you only change fields in APPEND structures for the ANLAV structure. Main asset number, sub-number and company code cannot be changed.
