Functionality

This function module is an interface description only and does not contain any instructions. It is intended for developers of those additional components that provide their own function module at Event 00003110 (Determine orig. system of general vend. master data).

Function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00003110 must not be changed.

If you want to create your own function module that is to be accessed at the callup point mentioned above, proceed as follows:

  1. Copy the function module to your own name range.
  2. Do not change any transfer parameters !!
  3. Write your own coding in the copied function module.
  4. Save and activate your function module.
  5. Carry out the necessary settings in Customizing. Business Transaction Events

Functionality

The process permits the determination of the original system of the general vendor master data in a system environment in which vendor master data is distributed via Application Link Enabling (ALE). You can also determine whether general vendor master data is distributed via ALE.

Notes

The process is used for archiving vendor master data. When you archive vendor master data in an ALE environment, originals are archived and copies distributed via ALE are deleted. A data record is deemed to be an original in a system if the process for the parameter C_LOGSYS delivers the name of an own logical system. If the parameter E_ALEACTIV is initial, the general vendor master data is not distributed via ALE.
