Functionality

This function module is an interface description only and does not contain any instructions. It is intended for developers of those additional components that provide their own function module at Event 00700172 (User fields BU : Data transfer from cust. func. grp.).

Function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00700172 must not be changed.

If you want to create your own function module that is to be accessed at the callup point mentioned above, proceed as follows:

1. Copy the function module to your own name range.
2. Do not change any transfer parameters !!
3. Write your own coding in the copied function module.
4. Save and activate your function module.
5. Carry out the necessary settings in Customizing. Business Transaction Events

The business transaction events 00700170 to 00700173 form the interfaces from SAP program SAPMF60D (master data Building) for customer function groups that implement the customized user fields. The assignment of the BTEs 00700170 to a text module in the customer name field in table TPS34 verifies if the customized fields have been created or not.

If customized user fields have been created, access the text module in the PAI of 701 in the SAPMF60D program.

The export parameter of these events are:

E_USERFIELDS : In this structure the user fields are issued in the SAPMF60D program. Customized user fields must have been created in the CI_VIOB03 structure for this.

E_CHNG_FLAG : This tells you if the 701 event can be triggered when the master data record is saved. Changes to the customized tables can be updated.

E_ABBRUCH_PRUELAUF : The screen for user fields is accessed in the background before saving. All input checks that are not ON_REQUEST are made. If the save process is cancelled due to inconsistent entries, setting this flag, E_ABBRUCH_PRUELAUF, ensures that saving takes place.
