Functionality

This function module allows you to change the content of the text-transfer table generated with a text request. This makes sense in cases where only a short text exists for an InfoObject, and you want to attach your own, for example, middle-length text taken from a customer table. This module must not be used to change the content of key fields. It is better if you do this in the Business Information Warehouse.

The following parameters are available:

I_CHABASNM:
Name of basic characteristic.

C_T_TEXTS:
Table with data received from the API with the same format as structure RSTEXTTRSF.

I_UPDMODE: Update mode, as requested in the Business Information Warehouse scheduler. Not normally required.

I_T_SELECT: Table with the selection criteria stored in the Business Information Warehouse scheduler. Not normally required.

I_T_LANGU:
Table with languages for which the texts were requested.
