SDOK_LOIO_DESCRIPTIONS_SET - Write Language-Dependent Descriptions of Logical Document

Functionality

This function module writes selected language-dependent descriptions for a logical document. Unlike the function module SDOK_LOIO_PROPERTIES_SET, which always writes the description text for a logical document (as the attribute DESCRIPTION) in the logon language, this function module makes it possible to write the description text in any language (although the codepage may impose some restrictions).

When this function module is called, the names of the languages are written to the table DESCRIPTIONS, either in the form of a single-digit internal R/3 code, or the two-character ISO abbreviation, or both. The relevant description texts are also written to the table. When the languages are transferred, the system checks that they are valid, consistent, and that they are compatible with the codepage in use by the work process.

The description texts found are written to the table DESCRIPTIONS. Language codes with errors are written with an error code to the table BAD_LANGUAGES. The error codes are based on the constants SDOKA_LAERR_... in the type group SDOKA.
