SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CHANGE - Change SD Document

Functionality

You can use this method to change or delete sales documents.

You can change header, item, schedule line and configuration data.

Please note the following:

  1. Only enter the fields you want to change.
  2. Select these fields by entering X in the check bar.
  3. Enter U in the UPDATEFLAG field.
  4. If you want to change the document, always enter the key fields in the check bar.
  5. If you want to change configuration data, you must fill in all the fields.
  6. Maintain quantities and dates in the schedule line data.
  7. UPDATEFLAGS that you can use are:
  • U = change

  • D = delete

  • I = insert

Example

  1. Delete complete sales document
  2. Delete sales document item
  3. Change sales document
  4. Change configuration

Notes

  1. Minimum entries
You must specify the sales document number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields when you want to change documents.
You must enter the update indicator in ORDER_HEADER_INX
  1. Commit control
The BAPI doesnot run a database commit. This means that the application calling up the data must trigger the commit to write the changes to the database. To do this, use BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
