Functionality

This function module is for creating, changing, displaying, and deleting quota scales. The internal tables containing the data as it appears on the database are to be filled by the requesting procedure. Separate function modules exist for this.

When a quota scale is created, the assigned value scale is created where necessary from the charcteristic values. The quotas for the characteristic values in a value scale can be entered by the user. When they are created new, they can be adopted from a reference quota scale. The quota scale header text can also be changed.

You reconcile the value scales and quota scales with any changed characteristic values using the function module value_curve_char_sync (reconcile with characteristics).

The data created/changed by the user is stored in an internal table. For it to be updated, the requesting procedure has to call the update module value_curve_update following this module. No commit work is made. The requesting procedures are responsible for this.
