Functionality

This function module is for creating, changing, displaying, and deleting value scales. The internal tables containing the data as it appears on the database are to be filled by the requesting procedure. Separate function modules exist for this.

The value scales are automatically created from characteristic values. Only the header text can be changed.

You reconcile the value scales with any changed characteristic values using function module value_curve_char_sync (reconcile with characteristics).

The data created/changed by the user is stored in an internal table. For it to be updated, the requesting procedure has to call the update module value_curve_update following this module. No commit work is made. The requesting procedures are responsible for this.
