Functionality

This function module is used to insert or update a record in the job log monitor table for monitoring the progress of converting Job Id that is created in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Generator. After insertion of the record in the table for a new job id, you can monitor its status using the transaction VEG_JOBMONITOR.

Example

Importing Parameters:

  • IV_JOB_ID (mandatory)
  • IV_PROSERVER (mandatory)
  • IV_APPID
  • IV_OBJID
  • IV_WORKFLOW_NAME
  • IV_PROUSER
  • IV_JOB_STATE
  • IV_JOB_SUB_STATE
  • IV_END_TIME
  • IV_START_TIME

Exporting Parameters:

  • ES_MESSAGE

Notes

  • This RFC-enabled function module can be called from VEG and any other ERP systems.
  • There is no dependency on any other object or function module.
  • It can also be called multiple times, if required.
