VE_GET_METADATA - VE Get metadata

Functionality

You can get all the metadata information of file formats like .rh and .vds , which have been stored inside Document Management System (DMS) using this function module.

Metadata information can be a particular visual instruction step description, SAP ERP objects tagged in a file, and so on.

Example

This RFC-enabled function module uses the following parameter:

Import parameter:

IT_VE_METADATA

Can pass document information or metadata category or metadata name in the importing parameter.

Export parameter:

• ET_VE_ V_DOC_METADT

• ET_MESSAGE

Based on the importing parameter, you will get the complete data.
