Functionality

This function module belongs to the inbound interface for store physical inventory. It is called via a parser in the POS interface (FM 'PARSE_IDOC') at function 'H1' for reading in a header segment (type E1WVINH).

The function module performs the following main functions:

• Initialization of data structures per physical inventory document in the IDoc.

• Reading of table KNA1 to determine the plant number of the store that goes with the customer number.

• Transfer of header segment data to an internal structure.

• Convert formats from char format to the physical inventory formats.

• Test double postings, if in the header segment the fields DNAME, DDATE and DTIME are filled.

• Fill empty optional fields with a default value (if defined).

• Check if document determination is necessary.
