Functionality

This function module determines the unit of measure from the data entered using the following algorithm:

- If the EAN is available, read unit from the EAN table (MEAN).

- If no EAN is available, take interface profile setting order unit or base order unit into account.

Determine whether variable order unit is active.

- If not active, take base unit from material master.

- If active, check if vendor known.

- If not known, take order unit from material master.

- If this is empty, take base unit.

- If vendor known, search in the following order for the valid order unit:

1. Source list depending on delivery date. If this does not exist:

2. Purchasing info record (EINA). If this does not exist:

3. Material master. If this does not exist, base unit.

- If call_from = '2' => supply source still to be determined and for source list, EINA and order unit sales unit determined from

MARC. If this does not exist, base unit.
