Functionality

This function module deals with an RFC interface, which can be used for processing Work Clearance Documents in the ERP system, to connect to any external graphical system.

Example

The most common example is the connection to a graphical planning system, which can be used to visualize and maintain the data for Work Clearance Documents and for corresponding technical objects.

Notes

The connection between both systems is realized through an individual RFC server, which works as middleware between the ERP system and the external one. The server is often written in C++, and includes a method which is triggered by calling up the function module and which provides an appropriate dialog between the ERP system and the external one.
