Functionality

Determine DDIC field information for IDoc fields.

Input: PI_DOCTYP LIKE EDIDC-DOCTYP
Output: PE_T_IDOC_FELDER STRUCTURE DD03P
PE_R_SEG_MENGE such as ranges Seg_menge

The field information for a specific IDoc category is obtained from the DDIC and transferred to PE_T_IDOC_FELDER. In addition, the resulting list of all segments for this IDoc category are transferred in the form of a range table (PE_R_SEG_MENGE).

The FM allows interpretation of any (including unknown) IDoc segments during inbound processing.
